Carbon Offset

Each carbon offset represents the reduction or avoidance of 1 metric ton of Carbon Dioxide (mtCO2). Every offset is verified by an independent verifying registry such as Verra (VCS), ACR, CAR, or Gold Standard.

Offsets purchased online will come from 4AIR’s standard portfolio of offset projects. Carbon offsets are retired annually at the end of the calendar year on a public registry. For proof of retirement or to verify the exact project used, please contact info@4air.aero. Pictures shown here are from exact 4AIR projects or are indicative of the project types in our portfolio.

For easy math, purchase 1 carbon offset for every:

• 100 gal of JetA fuel used or

• 115 gal of AvGas fuel used

If you would like to cover everything to a Carbon Neutral level, offset 100% of your fuel burn. For a Emissions Neutral equivalent, offset 300%.

FAQ

What does it mean to retire an offset?

“Retiring” an offset means listing a particular credit, via its specific serial number as ‘claimed’ on a public registry. This permanently prevents anyone else from claiming that offset while providing transparency to see that the claim occurred.

Will my name be listed on the offset?

No, all offsets purchased here will not include customer names and be retired anonymously as a “4AIR Customer.” If you would like your name to be listed, please contact info@4air.aero.
