How to use the calculator:

Step 1: Calculate your base emissions.

Select your preferred method for calculating your base carbon footprint. Choose from an aircraft category or specific aircraft for an estimated hourly fuel consumption, or select the advanced option to enter a custom hourly fuel rate.

Then add the number of hours flown for the trip(s) and your estimated footprint is complete.

Step 2: Achieve a 100% carbon neutral flight, through the use of a mix of SAF and CO2.

Using the slider, select how much SAF you would like to use to reduce the footprint of the flight, rather than offsetting it. Because current SAF needs to be blended and is only about 75% lower life cycle carbon than traditional fossil jet, a full (100%) use of blended SAF results in about a 23% reduction of the base carbon footprint. SAF will be delivered through a book and claim program and is guaranteed to be delivered into business aviation.
